Well. Wonderful wonderful Linden Labs FUCKED UP again. I have to hand it to them. They managed to go a good 10 hours before they're "Maintenance" failed yet again. SO. Here's what I see after a good 20 minutes fighting with the Asset sever:

WTG, LL. For those of you who HAVE NO IDEA what that means- it's basically saying that the central server that logs EVERYTHING (putting things on the ground, attaching things, YOU'RE OWN LITTLE MODIFICATIONS) is gone. The server went BOOM. We'll have to wait till the Lindens figure out what the hell they're going to do. ~
